hey all not trying to have a moan but im a bit of a cock when it comes to weed :D
im really looking for weed that is better priced to be honest per 3.0 or 3.5 im looking at 25 pounds (UK) I care about quality obviously but I dont expect super skunky silver haze, just something that works for that weight, im finding alot of weights and prices are a bit over the top (maybe its because im new) but I just dont see how paying nearly 40 pounds which would be a quarter ounce for an 8th is good! im a stingy bastard I suppose =p and id like to stress im not having a dig at the community as your all awesome im just a little confused thats all especially by the dealers in england selling over the top!

In simplest terms, you get what you pay for. I've bought an ounce for 200 and obviously quality was less-than-desirable. I've also bought a quarter of some other weed for 90 and it was absolutely fantastic.

Prices on SR are high because there is shipping, BTC price fluctuations in escrow, and potential refunds if packages don't arrive. There are a few with good deals, especially if you are willing to look overseas, but if you can buy it cheaper in person... Stick with that unless you are after a specific strain on here.

The quality of product on SR is consistently high across ALL drugs. Ive bought weed from street dealers that 1) was nowhere near 3.5g and 2) was utter shit. Pay a premium here and you end up with some fine, fine product. Hell even Swazibud's cheap weed (about £24 for 5g) is great and gets you licked.

Yeah, it cost a bit more than down the road, no doubt.
But can't beat it for convenience.
Our UK vendors I've ordered weed off of that I'd recommend, in order:
happyhippy - Some autoflowering AK-47 - wasn't expecting much from an autoflower, was pleasantly surprised. I may even stop, or slow down slightly, bitching about the low quality of auto-flower strains. This was definitely highest end mid grade. Ordered Tuesday, arrived on Thursday. I've ordered some more, so that tells you something... 8)
hansolo - Grabbed some 'outdoor, mid-grade' it was described. Once again, pleasantly surprised with a decent quality smoke and a great trim. Ordered Tuesday, arrived on Friday. Doesn't currently have anything listed. Would order again.
hashuk - Grabbed a small quantity of weed (SR down now, can't recall the type, dammit)(Edit, SR is back - it was Sou Diesel X Kush), decently high quality, nice trim. Ordered Tuesday, arrived Saturday. I'll be checking out some more of hashuk's wares in the future.
GreenGiant - Ordered 'Greenhouse Sample' of 1g. Pretty good, but I did get a whack of perfume-smell part of the way through one joint. Just the once. Ewww. Killed that joint quick. Trim was a little rough, but weight was over a LOT, so that's in his favour. I'll give GG another try in the future.
The packaging from everyone was fine, all sealed at least once in mylar or twice+ vac sealed.
Did they all cost me a bit more than on the street?
Absolutely - but I also got to try 4 different strains, and if I want larger amounts on a regular basis, I'm sure all of them would be amenable to discounts for regulars.
It's all about convenience and discreet to-your-door delivery.
And for me, it's worth it.

The prices for 1/8ths are high because of the fees and shipping. When your looking at 5$ for shipping and 5$ in fees that's about 25% of the cost right there. And like mentioned earlier the convenience is really what your paying for. Maybe save up and buy an ounce, you will save quite a bit of money.

This is interesting. I've seen a lot of people talk about your stuff but noticed we couldnt get it in the UK. Expect an order soon ;)

Looking forward to it. Just be sure to add the BTC amount for "worldwide" shipping when you send funds as I just went in and had a chat with the postal worker at a branch on the other side of my city, and it's more expensive than I originally thought, even by lettermail spec.
